AdminVPN is a service to provide strong authentication and secure network connections for Systems and Units at the University of Toronto.

To be eligible for AdminVPN:
- Users must be a staff member or faculty member approved by their department for AdminVPN
- Users must be enrolled with UTORmfa, as it will be required to connect.
- eToken authentication is being phased out, however, will continue to be supported as the service proceeds through end-of-life.
- User must connect using a UofT Managed Device
The AdminVPN is governed by and enforces University Policies (Policy on Information Security and the Protection of Digital Assets and other related), and the Information Security Standard
Privacy Statement: The AdminVPN audits user activity (user id, ip, device, accessed resources), which is forward to security services, such as the SIEM, for security analytics and correlation. The AdminVPN does not directly retain this information.
