Staff responsible for managing their unit’s firewall configurations can request access to the FWaaS platform by submitting a Firewall as a Service Access Request through the Enterprise Service Centre.

FWaaS access requests must be approved by the requestor’s supervisor, and they include a mandatory confidentiality statement. Access must be reapproved every 365 days.

When staff are onboarded to the FWaaS platform, Information Security provides a one-hour synchronous training session. Additional documentation and guidance are available on the platform vendor’s website.
