Obtaining access to AMS

The process for obtaining AMS access is as follows:

  • Your business officer will submit AMS access request to the appropriate AMS representative
  • Once request is approved and completed, users can immediately access the system via eToken connection


Using your eToken to access AMS

Here is a step by step guide to using eToken to access AMS:

  • Connect eToken
  • Connect to Cisco AnyConnect VPN
  • Enter eToken password on SafeNet Authentication Client screen
  • Open AMS client
  • Enter AMS User ID and password

AMS Access and VPN connection errors

An AMS user who experiences a VPN connection error is likely missing the necessary permission for AMS and eToken connection.

If you experience this error please follow these steps:

  • Please contact access.easi@utoronto.ca with the subject line ‘AMS Access Issue: Please add me to the AMS group’
  • Please provide your UtorID and AMS ID (if available)
